Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
2 tsp Powdered Turmeric
1/2 tsp Cinnamon Powder
3 cups Almond Milk
1 tsp Ginger Grated
1 tsp Coconut Oil
1 pinch Ground Black Pepper
1 pinch Salt
4 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup You can add more or less depending on your taste

    The Golden Milk or (Turmeric Latte)

    Is one of my favorite healthy drink. It is made of low calories and dairy-free milk, like soy milk, almond milk or coconut milk. It also has ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, salt, and honey or any kind of syrup you prefer.

    This drink sometimes called super milk because of all the nutrients you can get for each ingredient. Tumeric is well known for its health benefits such as natural anti-inflammatory, high in antioxidant, maintain blood sugar in your body that helps your metabolism. It is also good for joints and muscle swelling and more pharmaciemg.fr. We all know that ginger has the same beneficial effects and it is used to treat many kinds of nausea and morning sickness when you are pregnant.

    Of course, not only women can benefit from this super milk. Everyone should take advantage of drinking this golden milk to treat our body once a while. Especially, those people who love going to the gym and use their muscles and joints for work can really benefit from this drink and regulate their muscle soreness and some chronic indigestion.

    This drink is not common in the Philippines and only a few people know this recipe and some may know this but they prefer not to drink it because of the color that makes it look bad, and some may drink it just for all the health benefits they can get. But, to be honest, if you like the taste of turmeric and ginger, then you will surely enjoy this unique treat, and trust me, your body will thank you!

    In a small saucepan, over medium heat, add almond milk and dissolve the turmeric powder. Cook for 5 minutes.
